Looking to do my first hard body build and was thinking of the old Ford. My dad had a Blackfoot back in the late 80's and I always wanted to use the body.
Anyone using one now? I searched but didn't find anything.
Thank you.

the black foot body is kinda small compaired to todays rigs its more 1/12 scale
and i think thunder tiger makes one now days i dont remeber all the details.or if i got.the brand.right but i remeber seeing a scale vertion with the black foot body on it relesed by a different company

The thunder tiger 1/12 chassis is a good fit.
I bought the Hilux edition and put my old Black Foot body on it. It does need some modifications like different link length and the drive shaft needs to be longer in the back.
But all in all not a big deal.

Correct. For giggles I tried my old beat up Blackfoot body on my 1/12 Gen 1 ECX Barrage and it fit perfectly! I see the Blackfoot body kits are starting to be available here and there. If I didn't already use the Barrage chassis for some other project, I'd buy a body kit and make a scaler like Grimm's.

Grimm, that's pretty awesome.

I knew it was on the smaller side but didn't realize how much. Rather not do another Toyota, Clod or XJ.
Maybe I'll do a proper MJ to try it out.
Thanks for the feedback!
