Finally got all my parts in .. so the build begins .

starting with almost all option parts available , bearings and alloy shocks .
Will be running slickrock 1.9 tsl's .:mrgreen:

Aaron at rccarkings really helped me out with the yellow highlighted servo saver cap today and got to see a couple other MN crawlers members as well.

M05 yeah racing diff spool in the front and hot glued the rear. Shoulda got a second but it was an unplanned accessory.

Used savox 0251 from a buddy for $20
Mounted up in the alloy mount and installed in gearbox half.

I'll be interested to know what you think of its handling. I built a rear-motor touring car and put a Porsche 911 body on it (because dammit, Porsche 911s *should* have the motor hanging off the rear axle, tuning problems be damned), but touring cars don't need forward weight bias to help them climb over stuff. I'm curious to see if this can actually run off-road on more than twigs and pebbles. It'll never be a proper crawler, of course, but I always like to see unconventional vehicles that can keep up.

Body has to sit up to clear the tires so It definitely looks tamiya goofy .

Actually thinking about going to a 35 or 55t motor. With its limited gearing options it's actually really fast with what I'd assume is some where around at 27t in the stock torque tuned silver can.

So, what does it take to fit a hardcase LiPo in one of these things? Does it come with a rectangular battery port or is it still rounded like a NiMH pack?

It has a rectangular batt slot accepting standard hard and 6 cell style lipo's
