Not much info on TC about this truck, nor can I find much about it online. I am looking into a possible deal on one, which would be a shelf queen, but I have no idea what one is worth. I didn't even know this truck existed until I ran into this one.

Anyone familiar with this truck?

Thanks

One of my friends had one. It broke, or something. I can't see them being worth a whole lot, it may be made by tamiya but it's as capable as a nikko. The QD (quick drive) are not hobby grade, the're very nicely built toy grade rc's.

I take it that you are talking about this truck from Tamiya? It is a "toy" grade rc from them. as for a value I have seen them go for around $75-$150 depnding on there condition.
This truck I found on craigslist.com afew weeks ago it was $50.00

The one on eBay was the one I was looking at. I asked the seller if he would sell it outright, and instead of giving me a price, he put up a BIN of $60..............and I went for it!

So, for $80 shipped, I think I did alright. I would have probably gone for $100 total. I know it is a toy-grade QD, but from what I know, or have seen, it is the more rare of the QDs, but this may just be personal experience. Either way, you don't see them too often, so I figure it will only get more rare with age. One thing about the "toy grade" stuff, they get beat to crap, and usually don't live too long.

So, for $80, I got a little Tamiya history to sit around and just look pretty. I figure it won't go down in value.................(until Tamiya re-releases it!!!!):)

Tamiya just emailed me. They said they just re-released the QD Wrangler.
