Can i charge 4x4S 5000mAh LIPOS at 5a or will my house burn down:shock:?
THERE WAS NO MANUAL INCLUDED....

IM SO CONFUSED RIGHT NOW WITH ALL THESE AMPS AND VOLTS ,WATTS etc.

here is a link http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=11170

thanks

I think you are going to find it will not let you charge 4 batts at 5 amps each. It says 6 amp per port but that doesn't mean all at once. Go ahead and hook it up with your batts and it will limit the charge rate I think. Chargers usually have a limit built in to the software.

Let us know how it does OK?

I think you should be fine. You are under the rated specs for the supply. The supply probably has some kind of protection built in.

here ya go.

It employs the circuit that features four totally independent but identical power
outputs which are powered 50 watts each. Total powers are 200 watts. As a result ,
it can charge or discharge up to 4 x 15 cells of NiCd/NiMH or 4 x 6 series of Lithium
batteries simultaneously, and maximum current of 6.0A. Furthermore the cooling system
is so efficient that can hold such a power without any trouble of running the CPU or the
operating program.
