The CC/RPP Outback YJ

Coming along nicely, the interior is great for as simple as it looks out of the body. Please post a tutorial on how you do it, I can use all the pointers I can get. I love the idea of having a basic scale interior without going overboard on the details.

Thanks again guys, just replied to the PMs on the interior.
Just got word from down the street that I've got another Wrangler body set on the way and I'm going to do a full interior panel tutorial from start to finish and list the basic supplies. When you see how easy it is and use a few tricks you'll be making them all the time!

Glad you're digging the Jeep Corey...killer frame set and components! "thumbsup"

THAT IS ONE NICE BUILD, I LIKE THAT COLOR, LOOK LIKE CANDY APPLE RED. I THINK THOSE BFGS YOU WAS CLIMBING WOULD LOOK CRAZY 2. IS THAT 1.5 "thumbsup"

Very nice and detailed work bro!
One question, does the slinger sot roght on the cooper rim?
I got some stompers and Kawada minis but the tire is far from tight on them. I have come to think that I got a case of bad molding.

1.5 vs Tamiya M Series wheel

A few of you have asked if there's a size difference between the HPI cup racer wheel and a Tamiya M Series wheel.....
YES!

The other day I needed to make the spare for my Jeep and the LHS only had Tamiya M Series wheels off of a Mini Cooper. In a rush I didn't bother measuring and just started to make my new wheel and insert the newly built center.
When I went to mount my 1.55 tire it was way to loose!

The measurement of the beads (round off numbers)
HPI Cur Racer wheel: 44mm
Tamiya M Series: 38.5mm

Just thought I'd save you some hastle.

Got most of my electronics layed out this morning and am finally getting to use my RC4WD BigOffroader Radio setup, sealed inside and SCX box in the front. Running a Tekin ESC in the Traxxas box in the rear and using an Axial battery plate that holds a few small 2S Lipos in fron t of the tranny to keep my weight balanced.

Also finished my shocks, prepped and painted the aluminum white then wrapped the shock body in white vinyl and finished them off with some Rancho decals.

Made my rim for th espare using a HPI Cup Racer rim and the center from a hummer wheel with large holes drilled in it to match the aluminum stuff. I'll grab an extra Alloy wheel as soon as they're available in singles.
