The Crawliseum wasn't built in a day...

The next addition was a small concrete ravine leading halfway up the table to the entrance of the tunnel.

It's gonna be good-n-tight after we put cement all around.

Coming out the other end and up onto the table top.

Once finished it's definetly gonna be tight.

That is way too cool"thumbsup". How much do you have invested into it if you don't mind me asking? We spend so much on RC crawlers and we don't often consider investing in something to play on. Your entire area looks like so much fun to play on:mrgreen:

Hey I was one of the first few to crawl on those foam block pieces when they first put it together and had it at the Hobbytown in Columbia!

The stone boy is a little creepy

Oh man you noticed that too, damn is that ever creepy..........I love it!!!!

Very cool, im jealous, my wife and I are saving for a house...I could never build anything liek that in my condo lol, the neighbours hate me enough when i run my airplane motor lol

Thanks alot!
Not sure I want to count it up, lol.
About $300 in rocks, $115 in lights, $100 in cement/concrete, most of the lumber was scraps, $25 in stucco lathe and $25 in plastic sheeeting. That's already more than I thought! But we get ALOT of driving time in because we don't heve to travel and it's heated.
Def is fun to crawl on and even more fun to build. "thumbsup"
Come play on it sometime...

Nice! Do you have any pics of it setup there?

If yall think he looks creepy now, you need to see the "other pics".
Have some fun with your neighbors, build a quickie course at the pool, clubhouse or commons area while everyone's at work!
Maybe get a buddy that has a place for a course hooked on crawlin' then build it there.

Eddie,
This place is pretty sweet......and only 40 min from my house....;)

Really like the tunnel and concrete ravine that's cool. I'm sure a lot of people wish they had their own RC facililities. I certainly do.

Ok cool I drive semis so not a lot of home time but if I get the chance or vacation I'm gonna try and get down there to check this place out. Looks so freaking cool

We had a little practice GTG here today and had a blast. Thanks to Mike for all the hard work he has put in on it. He has been working hard. The best pics are still to come, he has changed a bunch of stuff working hard to make a spot where we can have some "indoor" comps......

The tunnel is sick."thumbsup" Gotta watch your height.
Rope bridge, bad a$$. Reminds me of the Temple of Doom. With Indiana and Short Round.

Thank you Sir! The tunnel is gettin' tighter too.
The rope bridge is alot tougher than we thought it'd be when we built it, the off-camber spots adds to the pulse rate. The Bridge of Doom maybe!

It was great fun yesterday Andy, and thanks for the help tunin' our rigs. The building process is alot more fun than expected, and I'm enjoying having a place for folks to practice when the weather is bad. I've got some more work to do before comping here, can't wait to get started on it this week.

Scrap wood, stucco lathe and cement or concrete is about all it takes to to build some crawlable rocks. The cement sticks to the lathe easier than the concrete, which helps on steeper sections. Concrete makes for more traction though.

This was my 1st attempt at concrete and stucco lathe.

After a couple of months driving on it, I went back and changed the bottom and finished the edge.
