It sure is going to be sweet when PBS and some decent children's programming is gone, planned parent hood disappears and Alaska becomes a waste land of oil pipelines. Oh and my student loans go up so high that I won't be able to pay them. Yeah Romney is the guy for the job. :roll:
I was reading about them...nationwide they only get a few million from the government and rely on private funding for the rest. Their business model is completely opposite from every other network and they really do make sure their money is put to the best use possible.
No commercials, no violence, no sex. PBS should be the LAST station to have its funding cut. Why not cut the billions in corporate handouts that all of the other corporate stations get instead?

Boring.
15% of their nationwide corporate budget comes from the government. The rest comes from donations and merch profit.
Some stations have half or more of their yearly budget paid by PBS.

Tuition rates have gone up by about 25% since Obama took office (just tuition, not boarding and food).
What is the current interest rate on your loan? IIRC, it was fixed per year and anything that is taken by the student has that rate applied for the entire year.

Ok. So, what I get from that is that the federal government is not going to expunge your student loan.....is this something that you were expecting to happen?

No No, The fixed 10% from Obama we currently have. Romney wants to get rid of that, so potentially student loan monthly dues could be higher then your income.
