My wife and I looked at getting those before we got hitched. We decided against them and ended up getting some titanium 2 piece rings that spun. Worst rings ever. Constantly clogged with junk needing to be cleaned out, those bogger rings will be full of junk all the time. I lost mine and replaced it with a carbide band. She got tired of hers sucking and replaced it with a skull and crossbones etched black band.

Tungsten or Ti were my "cool" ring choices until I realized how much I metalwork. Slag sticks to both, my buddy ruined his ti ring tack welding and grinding without gloves. Grabbing metal objects quickly or falling on pavement will shatter tungsten rings, more strikes for me. I went with gold, polishes back up and doesn't tarnish.

I think they would be cool rings for special occasions, but not good for comfort or cleanliness. I would have those treads packed full of grease and skin every day. Feel like taking a toothbrush to your ring once a day?

I never wore one as I did electrical work my whole life and they are a great conductor, now if I could get my wifes off when she was a sleep and pawn it I could get some new golf balls or a new RC truck. shes a sneaky sleeper though.

I chose tungsten carbide because it will shatter. Gold crushes so you'd have to cut it off or try and use large channel locks like I did. I dropped a transmission on my class ring and had to grab pliers to open it back up to remove it before my finger died. Welding slag doesn't stick to it good enough to stay around either. I have welding boogers all over my class ring and my Ti ring had them too but any that hit the tungsten come right off with a pocket knife. :D

Tungsten carbide here. Still looks new even after a few years. Lost my first wedding ring in the lake (gold), and wanted a cheaper alternative the second go around.

Same here Tungsten carbide but with carbon fibre in it,least now i know how to get a new ring. thought these rings were bomb proof. learn something new everyday i guess

Get a Prince Albert & prove how much you love her...

That way you don't have to worry about weld slag, crushing, etc......... as much.

That would be awesome if your wife is a dude, if not buy her a real wedding band.

The ring my wife wears now was under the carpet of my old truck when I got it. We were cleaning all the old crap out when she found it. She immediately slipped her Ti band off and put it on with a huge smile.

She never wears the engagement ring with it since it gets loaded with junk. Oddly enough that engagement ring set me back a whole $14 from a truck stop. She picked it out too.

I know it comes as a shock to some people that not everyone is from the same boring old mold but oddly enough some people like to be different.
