I hope this wasn't already posted. Just found it and thought I'd share. I'm more interested in the body, which seems like a close fit on the DRX chassis. "thumbsup"

I can't find anyone selling this exact body, but I have found Tower and a few others carrying the Countryman body for the Thunder Tiger EB4 model. Its dimensions are slightly smaller than the Tomahawk body, but should still be a close fit on the DRX. Only bad news is these sites are saying the clear version is not available until late December.

Cool! That body looks very promising. "thumbsup"

Ohh the wheel base is .4" different and the width is 1.5" off... could be problematic.

Why can't two companies make cars the same size?

Thanks Ty. I wish there was a standard rally size too. I'm really hoping Pro-Line could release stuff for the DRX, but I feel that may be unlikely. It will probably be more like Traxxas and HPI stuff.

Thanks for finding it in the first place. It was new too me. "thumbsup"

My hope is companies take notice of the popularity of the DRX too. But instead of them putting new cars out it would be nice to see some aftermarket support and more bodies for the DRX specifically. Nothing I have every driven can touch the great driving characteristics of the DRX. Maybe a few companies can stop trying to fight it and embrace the goodness and support the DRX platform.

The brushless thunder tiger is the car to have in Sydney, Australia. Perhaps because one of the main rally runners owns a hobby store stocking thunder tiger....

Pros - it's basically exactly the same chassis as their monster truck, MT4, which has one several Basher of the Year awards. There are specific threads around discussing how great it is compared to the likes of the traxxas revo. So it should be bullet proof.

Cons - another bloody size/scale. Lack of bodies other than the mini. Lack of tires other than the ones it comes with. Not sure how they would hook up on different surfaces.

Oh, another pro - it's built for 4 cell lipo!

Local shop has a few of them as the owner loves Minis so he had them the second they were available.

Pretty nice looking chassis, clean and well laid out. Body is dead on accurate to the WRC Countryman too.

Unfortunately the Mini Countryman body is too big for the DRX. It's too wide and the wheel wells are too large too. It does fit the 1/8th scale buggies like the TT EB4 or short course trucks.

Do you know that from just the measurements or did you try it in person? I was really hoping it could fit the DRX.

Anyone have one of these yet that can compare the width and wheel base to a conventional 1/8 buggy and or 4x4 SC chassis dimensions. I think it would be cool to drop one on a 1/8 buggy with a little more ride height and suspension travel like the X-Raid Mini.
