Anyone else watch this show on History Channel last night??

Chevy vs Ford vs Dodge vs Toyota in Alaska....beat the crap out of these trucks. I thought it was entertaining.

I told myself I would stick to the original UK Top Gear, but decided to watch the Trucks in Alaska episode. It was good, except I didn't like hearing them rag on the Toyota. That was probably the best truck out there, and they didn't even give it a chance!

I thought it was a good episode. I finally watched a whole one. Usually they ride in exotics and imports and I have to turn the channel from lack of interest. Only thing I thought was dumb was couldnt they get some trucks that were at least close to the same year? The ford was like a 76, the chevy was like a 85 and the dodge was like a 98... That guy pounded the shit outta that chevy though.. Was funny.

Agreed. I have kept up with tga and its been a little dreary compared to tg BBC. But this was a good episode.

i have been keeping up with the series, has been good, last nights episode was the best, though i do think the ford got the shaft, (pun 100%intended) because of an idiot behind the wheel. only lost because a rock hit the drive shaft dead on.

It was an awesome episode. One of my favorite. I knew the Chevy was gunna win. I woulda like to see the Toyota walk all over the Ford and the Dodge. Good episode no doubt.

True. But I know it would have blown them away if it was stock. On the same topic, did everyone see the Top Gear Polar Special with the Hilux? It was an awesome episode. Go torrent it if you haven't.

they may have talked smack about the yota but its funny that it just so happened to be the fail safe rig.
