Trailing arms vs. 4 link

I haven't done the "geometry" on this but I feel like trailing arms climb better than traditional link suspension. Think the shock position gives great anti squat characteristics.

It will have no effect on the actual anti-squat value. That is a function of the theoretical link intersection point as well as the COG.

The only thing you are seeing is a change in the leverage that the suspension is putting on your shocks.
 
TAs aren't for everyone, but it works for me. No sway bars needed and minimal chassis roll
Note that my TAs are not bolted into the stock wraith link pockets in the skid...thats now how 1:1s mount theirs.
Have been running this particular setup for several months now and don't plan on changing it any time soon.

Despite it's looks, it is not a go fast...it is a one lug at a time crawler and will eat technical lines for breakfast.

I run a trailing arm in both the front and rear... essentially a leading and trailing arm. What I have experienced is that my crawler is more flexy that it was before (keep in mind I'm comparing the rig to itself) as well as bein able to run a shorter shock for my droop set up. Did I look a the science of it? No. Did I do it because I liked how it looked and it was something different? YES! It's more stable than it was before and I like the crawlability of it. It works for me, is it necessary? Pry not but oh well.
