Traxxas #8196 2-spd conversion kit

Theres a bunch of new rtr take out trans on ebay for reasonable money, ussually less than the cost of the conversion kit. Also fairly easy to use a regular mini servo, such as a Hitec 225mg, mounted to the side tray with a couple plain servo mounts and a couple holes drilled. This let's you avoid using the finicky traxxas micro servo.

Order placed. Thanks for the heads up!

You're very welcome, I hope that you like it as much as I do mine.

That is a good way to go as well. A Reefs micro 99 would be awesome. Ironically enough I've been running mine with the traxxas servo on 8.4 volts for over a year with zero issues. I figured I would swap the servo out when it fails, but it's still going strong. I have also often times wondered it end points being properly adjusted is the key to longevity.
