traxxas Just released a brushless rtr

Anyone find a price yet?

I'm guessing with the brushless system, the 5x11 bearing carriers, hex hardware, & metal gears in the transmission. We're going to be looking somehwere in the neighbourhood of $275?

i think that is WAY too low. the bl system alone is suggested to retail for 300 dollars. i'd expect the entire vxl pede to be around450-500 maybe. i could be wrong though.8)

which do you guys think would be a better basher/sometime racer.
a t4 a t4 factory team, running brushless. or this new brushless rustler .
ive had a stock rustler before and i never broke anything except for busting the shock caps off all the time.
i know the t4 would prob handle better, but im not sure about the durablity and maintance vs. the rustler

I would go with the rustler if you will be bashing. The t4 does handle better, but it just isnt set up for bashing and the parts dont take crashing as well.

hope they have some serious hop up parts in the truck, I have mine with MM 7700 and all RPM upgrade parts and I still can't drive it without breaking it every run:shock:

The brushless system alone is supposed to be about $180 and the vehicles are going to be about $300. Now for the 70mph you need lipo's and a different pinion. Also with it is a higher torque metal geared servo. It's supposed to come out in july. i want the servo. wheels, and the brushless system.:D

I got my prices wrong. these are the prices from traxxas but these are mrsp not what people will sel them for.

The 2408 Bandit has a suggested retail price of $580
The 3608 Stampede has a suggested retail price of $610
The 2708 Rustler has a suggested retail price of $590

The 3350 Velineon Brushless Power System itself has a suggested retail of $300

I think it's great that they put this stuff out, but I really think they betrayed people by putting out the XL5 pede and rusty so close to this. If they had known that this was coming out, they shouldn't have put out a "slightly better" rusty and pede, have people buy that, and then come out with these.

I don't know about that, I've seen several cases where the full powered XL-5 is too much for some adults let alone the kids who usually get them. This would be a good introduction then you can get teh stuff to hop the XL-5 or older truck up (that's the new plan on my Pede anyway....)

I already pre-ordered a VXL Rustler for myself. It's the last day to use ad codes for this month and I had one for $30 off of $150 and get free shipping with my super saver club membership. Ends up to be $299.99 shipped for it...I can handle that.
