traxxas link measurement

Theyre 4.25" long, is that measured eye to eye, end to end or rod length between the ball ends?

Please help me!

Pretty sure that is eye to eye. I forget which header card goes with which links that I have...lol...bought four of every T-Maxx links they had and some are 4", some 4.2" and some about 4 5/8" eye to eye. This is when the threaded ends are trimmed down a lil bit so that the stock Traxxas ball ends can screw all the way onto the ends and bottom against the thicker diameter link part...ya know where it's steps up from the threads to the link itself...
