I have a Traxxas 2-4 amp AC converter. Can I chop off the female lighter plug, put banana plugs on it and use it for my new DC charger: Bantam E-Station

That power supply is too weak. It puts out 40W but charging a 2S LiPo at 5A requires a minimum of 42W. That charger requires a power supply capable of at least 150W.

If you can find an Xbox360, xbox1, or PC power supply at a thrift store, pawn shop or Goodwill, they work well when modded.
Amazon & Ebay have some inexpensive 12v supplies too.
7-10 amps or more on the 12 volt output is what you would be looking for.
