Traxxas Receivers Question

I have a Traxxas TQi (with TSM if it matters) 2-channel tx/rx from my 2wd brushless Stampede. I'm wondering if I can buy just another receiver for my next rig instead of a whole new set, which brings me to the questions:

Will I need a TSM-specific receiver or can I just buy a regular one?

Also, to switch between the two trucks, will I only have to rebind each receiver (depending on which truck I want to run)?
