Has anyone tried the new True Scale Ford F-150 Raptor SVT Clear Body part 3389-00 it says its for the Slash but wonder if it'd fit the scx10 Honcho

Yep, it'll work with some minor modifications. It's a bit wider at 8.5" and if you plan on running with a rear bumper, you'll need to extend the frame a bit.

Wheelbase is pretty well bang on and the massive wheelwells will take just about any tire.

Yeah thanks I was thinking bout using the J-Concepts Ford Raptor 0084 for it but I like the Pro-Line one's look a little better . Plus it might be easier to find an interior for , maybe the one Pro-Line has for the short course trucks .

here is the body I was talking about:

Pro-Line Ford F-150 SVT Raptor 3345 Body for Monster Truck

This is a comparison with my axial scx10 with a proline 1970 ford f-100 and my brother's Traxxas slash svt raptor.

There you go!"thumbsup"

Wow thanks Rox that really is huge ! Think my best bet is gonna be to just take my scx in the hobby shop w me and test fit them til I find one that fits lol . There are just so many different versions out there .

Thanks AZ think I'm still gonna just take my scx to the shop . I'm kinda picky what I'm going for is as close realistic as possible . I just love doing scale details , I did a Robby Gordon HPI Mini Trophy and went as far as even making the radiator shrouds and painting the driver helmets to match the real ones . Lol
