Trx4 11.4 (287mm) wheelbase doable?

Hi all, just doing some pondering and question asking before I commit my self to buying parts. Has anyone done a 11.4” wheelbase (287mm) to fit an Rc4wd Mojave single cab body? What did you do? How difficult was it? Thank you for any responses.

you might need to swap over to a more compact transmission im thinking a 3 gear and a scx10 skid and mount it as far forward as posable to give as much room for a rear shaft as posable

Should not be a problem, but there are some aspects of the build you might have to get creative with; it also depends on what body you are putting on it and the limitations it imposes.

Here's a previous thread on that similar topic. My New Bright Bronco build ended up being right at about 11.4 so certainly can be done.

So my plan for the build is as follows:
I already have a set of trx4 sport axles
A spare trx4 sport transmission
To come will be a NWSD scattergun v2 chassis
Bowhouse Rc v2 trx4 skid
In the works Rc links

If 11.4 is achievable for a numpty like me then I’ll do that by utilizing in the works Rc links and a single cab Mojave body.
If not then I’ll go 12.3 and the xtra cab body.

That’s the plan at least…
