Trying to decide between a Super Clodbuster and CEN Racing hl150

I’d like to pick up another solid axle monster and these two are what I’ve decided upon. I know what I’m getting with a clod but the design on the CEN really interests me. But I can’t find much about them.
I’ve saw that they are fairly reliable but nothing on parts support.
Are parts readily available?
Or should I just forget about it and get a clod?

Any insight or experience will be appreciated!
Thanks

Awesome platform that has been around for a long time and has parts support. I am a racer and love my clod based rigs. Until the upgrades are available the CEN is kind of delicate IMO. I test drove one at an event they were at and broke broke a diff in 5 minutes. Once an upgraded diff is available it will be better but the steering setup will still be odd to me and its a tiny truck.

Sounds good. I have one on the way!
Thanks for the input.
Your criticism of the CEN is what I was wanting to know.

The Cen plastic diff cups are a bit fragile. Metal upgrades supposed to be coming. As far as which truck to get....they are totally different from each other so you must have both, lol.

Must have both is true. I ordered the Clod on Tuesday and the next day after it shipped I received notice of Tamiya price drops everywhere.
Had I saw this coming I would have waited on the Clod and started with a CEN.
Oh well. If it’s a good platform it should still be there for my next purchase.

Also your clod build is amazing!
I don’t know if I can run the beautiful hard body once it’s finished!

I know, I had placed a tamiya order through amain and cancelled just in time. As for the Cen only time will tell. But so far the reviews are pretty good. I like mine a lot

I ordered from eBay so I wouldn’t have been able to cancel easily.
AMain is a stand up company from my experience. I’m sure had you missed the deadline they would honor the reduced price in some fashion.
