Does tt02 make a decent rally car for a beginner? I have an XV01 myself. My Dad who is 71 is just getting into rc and we are building a rally track. I got him a tt02 Toyota Yaris. I have another tt02 which isn’t built yet. It’s going to have the Datsun 240z body. Stayed with the torque tuned brushed motor and a hobbywing 1060 esc for both tt02’s. Got the Tamiya cva shocks for each as well.

Absolutely. Its pretty beefy, the drivetrain is enclosed, and there's a decent amount of suspension travel with the right shocks. It's no XV01, but it'll do fine.

Thanks. I’ve been collecting hop ups for mine over the past few months. Yeah racing Metal drive cups and cvds, Tamiya aluminum steering rack, Tamiya aluminum propeller joint and drive shafts, foams, etc

Now I get to build two tt02’s back to back. The Datsun 240z will have the short wheelbase
