Im looking into getting a tubing bender for adding to my landcruisers rollcage and building a roll cage and bumper for samurai. Would i be better off paying some one to bend the pipe for me or can i get one for under $500 with a dye. Thought some one on here would know better then i would.

thanks
brian

Last time i priced one, I could get a bender and die for right about $479 shipped.. I forget who it was I was talking to..but unless you want to go through a lot of tubing getting used to it, it may be cheaper to have someone else do it..just depends if your gonna use it more than this time

Brian I've got a model 3 JD2 bender and access to some dies. 3/4",1", 1.5", 1.75" & 2" I'm open for business. I've already done a cruiser too. And I also bent up tube for Wheels Blazer bumper. I guarentee I"ll be cheap than anyone else. Does your FJ40 run? Cuz I've got a welder as well.

I picked up the zuki last friday and it had no exhaut, that little four banger can blow out your ears luckly it was only one exit down the freeway.

My point we can bend it up and weld it. The offer stands.

I paid $850 for mine shipped to the door. But, I did the the ProTools HD, and I also got a 1.5" and 1.75" 240 degree dies, instead of the standard dies.

I would tell you to contact Mike Green 4x4 about them (he is on Pirate4X4 as well) but he is out of the country taking a hyatus or something like that.

I think you can get the standard ProTools bender and one die for under $500 though.

I've got the standard Pro Tools. I'm tickled to death with it. I know prices have probly come down since I bought mine but if you can get one with one 240* die for close to $500 you should jump on it. You'll be getting a quality tool for a good price. I've had mine for about 3 years and it's always worked flawlessly, other than stupid operator errors
