Tuber Weight?

How much do your tubers weigh? I am building one and just wanted to see if I am in the same ballpark as everyone else.

Like 2 pounds at most, maybe 3 if you're really overkill and using huge solid rod or something.

mine weighs about 8-9lbs for the whole truck running LSTs


if your talking just the chassis, then mine weighs 1.5 lbs and thats using 3/16" solid rod and brake line

One of mine is at 8oz.

The other two are at 2+ lbs.

not sure how much my scale tuber weighs its heavy though. I'm guessing somewhere around 8-9 lbs.

My chassis with aluminum panels is about 1 lb.

When built up can be ~7.5-8.5 lbs. depending on wheels ands tires.

Yup. That's just the frame...no panels.

The panels are thin alum (.064 I think) with styrene for looks.

Okay Mines at 1lb 1 oz without any body panels or skid plate so it's about right.
