Hi Guys,

Im looking at going brusless on my txt now, but Im not sure what one to get or what motor. I was looking at the mamba max but again not sure what motor to get.

To be honest I dont really do a lot of crawling its more going over a few bumps and sticks in the local park than crawling, occasionally I might go through the odd bit of mud. If I could make it go faster and have a little bit more power that would be great.

Any advice please guys ?

the only thing with brushless is that it will brake parts quick. i have a 4400 in mine, and it has already ate one revo shaft, mostly because of the locked diff. hope this helps "thumbsup"

If you think that you might get it in any mud at all I would probably not put brushless in it. What I did on my TXT based truck was to Install a emaxx tranny and use the new style maxx ESC and motors. The ESC is water proof so it is allot more mud freindly. If you wanted you could even use the old style maxx tranny that way it would be 2 speed.

Mtroniks Genesis Truck
600 size in runner
water proof
external (replacable or ugradable) capacitors
smooth, and tuff.

I'm not worried about replacement parts I have a friend who work's in the prototype car research area for fords so any parts that break he can make them himself :).

I doubt I'd get any mud on my esc but even then it wouldnt be too diffuclt to make it water proof, I used to in an old truck I had put the esc inside a balloon so it wouldnt get dirty or wet.
