I am trying to find some of the TTR CVD's for my TXT but have had no luck. Anyone know of a vendor that has them or an alternative? Thanks.

That's where i got mine, they are under clod parts. The aluminum knuckles are awesome as well, they increase your steering angle heaps and also you can mount your batteries on the knuckle for more weight at the wheels.

Skarekrow - I looked at JP. Just to make sure, I can get the clod CVD's and CVD knuckles and they will be a direct fit for the TXT ones? Are you running them on a clod or txt. I searched old threads and there seemed to be a bit of disagreement on the ability to interchange or not. Thanks, Neil

Im running them on a TXT. The splines on the TXT diff are the same as the splines inside the hex of a clod diff. Also they both use the same steering knuckles.
Forgot to mention the CVD's also increase your track width.

this is wrong they arent. The txt cvds are like 1/4 long then clods are.This is what Darren at thunder teac told me.
They still fit, I am running Clod cvd's on my TXT. The stub shafts are the only real differance, that is where the extra length comes in.
The older Clod CVD's do not fit though as they have the hex in the locker built into the inner shaft.

I'm not trying to offend anyone, just curious. Why would the TXT CVD be a 1/4" longer than the Clod CVD? I know that stock TXTs have a slightly wider track because the stub shafts are a little longer(stock TXT wheel adapters and wheels are thicker) but the extra length is outside the hex. The only thing I can see having to be longer on the CVDs would be the bolt.

ntemple, it only matters if your going to actually run TXT wheel adapter and wheels, then you'll need the CVDs with the TXT bolts. Other than that Cod ones will work just fine.
I see a lot of guys ask questions on TXT axle width vs Clod and I'd just like to say that I run a TXT(non crawler) with clod stub axles, wheel adapters, and wheels and have the exact same track as a Clod.

Do the Clod CVD's also have a 12mm hex on them or are they 14mm? My current wheel adapters are for 12mm - 23mm so I would need the CVD hexes to be 12mm.
