I started making my own tow ropes in 2008, when options were few and far between. I have continued to make the same straps since; playing tug of war, dragging them across the rocks, dunking them in mud and have yet to have any issues. Needless to say I think the testing stage is done. :ror:

Here is one of the first Tow ropes I made back in 2008.

Fast forward and the same one is still sitting in my stash.

This one is from 2010 and still gets used frequently, even if it just hangs out on the rear bumper.

After the last few scale events and watching "the other guys" straps break in the time of need I have decided to offer my ropes for sale.

Current Tow ropes are made from parachute cord rated at 400 pounds. The cord is sewn together with heavy duty thread and covered in shrink tubing. These are very time consuming to make, but should be the last tow strap you will ever need. Current lengths are approximately 13" from end to end. Each strap is hand made and sewn by me, due to this lengths could vary by .5 of an inch.

Current colors:
Bright Orange

Bright Blue

Bright Green

Yellow

Orange/Yellow

Red, white & black

Current availability:

1- Bright Orange (13")
1- Bright Blue (13")
1- Bright Green (13")
1- Yellow (13")

1- Red (13")

Thanks Shon."thumbsup" Nothing like having scale and strength in the same package.

Working to be a little more legit. :ror:

I also tracked down some other colors. This stuff is 550 Paracord, it has a little bit of elasticity, but should be just as tough.

Blew through a bunch of ropes this last week! Thank you everyone.

Updated quantities

1- Bright Orange (13")
1- Bright Blue (13")
1- Bright Green (13")
1- Yellow (13")
1- Orange/yellow (13")

Parker of Recon G6 also tells me these are now G6 certified! "thumbsup"

Can you do shorter length if someone wanted ?

Yes that would not be a problem. Price would be the same though since it still requires tons of time to make each one.

PM if you want to work something out.

ropes look awesome! I will be ordering at least 1 or 2 of them in the near future!

Thanks man. I look forward to getting you a couple of tough tow ropes. "thumbsup"

I won a TTR, and it has been the best prize yet. These will not break. They are not the cheaper ones just heat shrinked together. They are sewn and extremely durable. Great value for the quality you receive.

Thanks Jason. Glad you are liking it.

There are something like 50 of these now in the crawler world. So thank you everyone for the support. I shot some more photos of these a few weeks ago to give everyone a better idea of how they look.

I actually advised him NOT to do that incase he broke and lost the pull BUT, it held up flawlessly. I seen it!! "thumbsup"

Awesome guys and great news! I have hooked these up to some pretty brutal rigs and watched some tug of wars with no issues. But I did start to sweat a little reading the first sentence. :lmao:

In fact Badhoopty- for your faith and support I will send you another one free of charge.

I have all 5 colors currently in stock, send me a PM with your address and color choice and I will get it out to you. "thumbsup"
