Chael is doing an act, I got it when I first heard him talking smack about Silva. You could see Dana standing in the background smiling ear to ear. In a country where WW? style wrestling makes 1000 times the money UFC does they probably thought it was a good idea. But the ultra sensitive half of the public took it the wrong way. I laugh at it, it gives people something to talk about.
Silva and GSP are very humble people. I respect that and know confidence is not always verbal. That being said it is not good when promoting fights. America likes to talk smack and lots of it. Not defending him or saying I approve but the UFC needs something, gotten kinda stale.

very true, but talkin crap and not backing it up is where he looks like a fool....after seeing him after a bunch of fights and the talk, just looks childish....I hear people talking bout the fight if he only held on 30 seconds longer, yeah he said he was protecting himself, had my hands up, yada yada yada....but getting elbow bombs by jones in a turtle position for 30 more seconds is not defending yourself :roll: ....

The fact that Belfort threw a wheel kick was just crazy let alone knocking Luke on his ass with it! I really thought Rockhold was going to weather the first round and a half and just start to dominate with his superior conditioning, but Vitor had other plans! I'm glad to see such a veteran whooping these newer guys asses! Hell Vitor even lumped up Tank Abbot when he first got to the ufc lol!!!
