This is the lamest excuse i have ever heard. Nothing against you but i hear it way too much! Get off your lazy butt and head to your local hardware store. Get your self a hack saw, drill, and a file if you want it to look pretty on the edges. Then go to ebay and get some of this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=31489&item=7516526813&rd=1 See that wasn't so hard. You may even already have a drill and hack saw. The aluminum is pretty easy to cut and can be bent easily too and that 6x48" sheet should last you a pretty long time. Just draw out a few designs on cardboard, cut out your favorite and trace it with a sharpie on to the aluminum and then just cut, drill holes and there you go!
I agree there are to many people on here wanting to know how to basically put together a kit. Part ot the fun of rock crawling is building your own parts and finding out what works and what doesn't.

I second that, I didn't have the tools to build mine either, but i went to home depot and $50.00 later i had everything i needed. It was a blast building the chassis and when it was all done and worked as good as it does I was very pleased and made the build even more special!

As everyone else has said, there are some great choices out there. Building your own chassis will teach you much more about how everything works/doesn't work. And knowing some people with some of the different chassis would be a big help too. That way you could see how everything performed in person, and would give you a great base idea.

Our original steel chassis's are more for the Crawler that wants a BIG Monster truck look. But our NEW Aluminum chassis will be more aimed at the LOW Center of Gravity people.

And there is plenty of great information right here in front of you on this site.
