I've got a used a twin hammers in the mail and am already planning some mods.

I want the best of both worlds for my Brocky build, which is great crawling and also high speed stability.

So I am thinking of the following.

Chinese SCX10 rear axle with remote locking cable.
This is then connected to the shift servo so when in low gear, rear is locked.
Diff cup will be filled with 1m weight for LSD when unlocked.

Then using the new Mamba Max Pro with aux setup and my hacked gt3b, it would trigger drag brake to operate at 100% when shifted to low.

Front will be unlocked with 1m oil as well.

Your front to rear driveshaft ratios will be off unless you take care to match the ring and pinions on each end, which will be difficult with an axle not originally intended for the car.

good point.

But the stock SCX10 gear ratio is handily enough slightly under driven compared to TH front. Which is an advantage really.

I'd go with a Sensored motor/esc combo. Put a locker up front. Up grade the gears to your liking.
