Pet Pythons Swallows Gators Once pet pythons imported from Africa and Asia, are now battling crocs and gators to be atop of the food chain in U.S. wildlife preserve. Picture was taken by two forest rangers. The python swallowed a 6ft long gator. The gator, still alive, scratched and tore its way out. Both are obviously dead, with python's lower half floating next the gators bottow half protruding out. Python's head is missing.
