Very nice."thumbsup"
Wheels and tires look just like what they run on the 1:1's around here.

Damn, I cant beleive i built this mog almost 5 years ago! ... It has been one of my most reliable, and alll time favorite rigs to drive. I am just now for the first time having to tear into it for repair. I was out running a few days ago and the rear diff was slipping.. Cracked open the axles and  .... this is what 5 years of use looks like .... I am going to tear through this rig end to end and give it some much needed TLC .. its going to need it cause its got a new younger sibling joining the fleet that its going to have to contend with... (more on that later tho )

Wow, you appear to have powdered gears. And I can't believe you made a set of bushings last five years!

Any current action shots of the Mog.

Now that you mention it and looking at my last post before reviving this thread i really never follwed up at all after the first run of this rig .. its been through a couple different suspension changes and updates to the drivetrain..

I will have to look for some more recent action shots.. its looks a bit different now ehem ... a bit more used that is :)

here is one from a while back

Awesome Mog. "thumbsup"

So where might this mud hole be? Near Lexington or Stevens Creek? I want to ruin my crawlers too. :ror:

Thanks for the comments! Sanding the sidewalls sounds like a good idea, i havent dont that on tires yet just wonder what i would be getting into.. the IMEX tires got a lot of text on em ...

Chino, yeah that shot was taken at lexingotn on the far side (tawords santa cruz) near the bridge / creek. We should cruise up there some time soon. i have found some awesome spots up there but the last few times have been hit or miss... really depends on the water level.

Here is a little progress..

cleaned all the gunk out of and replaced the output shafts and diffs in the axles, and swapped out the bushings for new bearings.

I am not sure i am going to change a whole lot on the rig as I really liked the way it drove before.. just looking to breathe new life into an old trusty rig after a lot of miles ... "scale" miles of course :ror:

Nice, not too far. I'd definitely be interested on some scaling, seems like we have less and less scalers around here. Can't wait for the rain....

the 416 is back together and back in action, ill get some more pics of it up soon im waiting for a good rain here to hit up some mud.... runs better than ever .....just in time too.. like i mentioned earlier there is a new mog in the works that the old 416 is going to have to contend with... Im starting a seperate thread on it now

here is a sneak peek .. the 1650 "thumbsup"

Looking like stevens creek as a possibility. Give me a call tomorrow morning 718-1049.

Meatwad and postclanker will probably join, looking like 1:30 or so.

Awesome rig my man. The lil mog that could! Surprising to see some of the lines it pulled.

Good to meet you danky, hope to crawl again soon "thumbsup"

Hell yeah! That little mog was tearing it up today. Good to meet you, good times! "thumbsup"
