Too quit smoking cigarettes, I see they are now doing group studies were they take a group of people and half get CBD oil and the other half get a placebo, and they are told that to vape the pens giving to them, when they feel the urge to smoke, and the ones getting the CBD oil has a 47% quitting smoking, Cause I have talked to my Doctor about quitting smoking and she wants to put me on Chantix or Wellbutrin and the side effects are bad and do not go well with my Hypertension and High Blood Pressure CBD oil there is no side effects, and just wondering if anybody else has used CBD oil too stop smoking

I stopped smoking cigarettes switching to vaping seven years ago so I can for sure testify to that. I looked at CBD oil recently out of curiosity, but it's had a lot of bad press locally for people being hospitalized after getting bad oil from a few different vapeshops.

Anything is better than analogs, but yeah, I tried Chantix 10 years ago and quite literally wanted to kill everyone around me (more so than usual)...stay away from that shit.

I also know someone who was hospitalized from using bad CBD oil. The stuff has obviously proved itself useful, but yeah, I would be careful of the source.

I would imagine still having the ritual of smoking while getting through the nicotine cravings is part of how a vape pen helps a smoker get off of nicotine. The other part is the CBD taking the edge off your jitters. It’s my understanding that CBD is typically more prevalent in the Indica weed strains. The Indica tends to effect the body more and the mind less, making a person feel relaxed. From that perspective, the study seems to make sense.

Weed and it’s active ingredients would appear to cure everything under the sun should we take in all of the anecdotal evidence. That said I know of many people who use it for pain, inflammation and nausea and it works wonders for them.

The stuff is pretty harmless used responsibly, so it can get you off the nicotine it’s a win for you.

well weed becomes legal here this wensday. if you can order from canada, once it becomes legal here there will be alot of cbd and here in canada including weed has to be tested for everything undwer the sun or its not allowed to be sold. Alot of cbd oil out there is fake and made from a different source.

There is a company here in my province of alberta , Radiant tenchologies in Edmonton. They habe a partnership with Auroa Cannabis oneof the biggest companys out there. They need one more license from Health Canada and they will be making some of the purest cleanest thc and cdb oil out there using there microwave technolgies. Soon you be able to buy the best stuff out there from good ol Canada!

When a friend of mine quit smoking some years back, he was given one of the drugs and he would bounce from suicidal thoughts to homicidal thoughts at times:shock: My immediate boss now, she used a vape to quit and it took her a matter of months of occasional vapes per day to kick the habit and rarely even does that any more"thumbsup"

One of the drugs also gives you intense nightmares , had friends that stop taking it cause of the dreams they were having , so its deff messing with your mind and sub concious. Not good

;-)Quitting smoking was the easiest thing I ever did, I used to "quit" all the time.
Then,,,,, I finally really "wanted" to quit and then I was able.
27 years now

I've heard of a lot of uses for CBD but quitting smoking isn't one of them.

I personally know a few dudes who use CBD oil products as a pain relief and they're quite happy with it. They swear to be getting relief from it, that's all I know. I don't use cannabis in any form, but that's just personal preference.

I just cold turkey cigarettes and smoking cannabis, both things i did daily for decades.

Any level of withdrawal symptoms are less problematic for me than how i would feel braking a promise, and i just promised myself that now its the last cigarette and joint i ever smoke.

As you can deduct from that i keep my promises, and i get mighty sad ( using a nice word here ) when other people do not uphold their promises to me.

I quit from a two pack a day habit about 10 years ago. Quitting can't be whimsical. You have to want to quit. It also helps to have something in mind to keep that desire to quit strong. For me, I did the math on my habit:

2 packs a day x 7 days a weeks x 52 weeks x $5 per pack (2008 price in NH) = $3640 in smokes per year.

I was essentially smoking the equivalent of my truck payment every month. Anytime I had the craving, I just reminded myself of that dollar amount. In the beginning, I had to remind myself about every 5 minutes, but it got a little easier every day. Carrying around a bag of Lifesavers candy didn't hurt either.

I’m not sure if anyone is still active here, but personally, I use weed for pain from Releaf and I’ve noticed very good results in managing chronic pain. I find it interesting that there are no side effects and that it’s a gentler solution compared to traditional medications. Also, I’ve seen that many people use CBD as an alternative to other treatments for various conditions.

I started smoking pot in the 70s. Early 70s. Started smoking pot for pain as I was graduating HS in 1984. I obviously didn't use from the early 70s to graduation in 84 every day. lol But I did smoke more than a few times in that span of 1.5 decades.

I explain it like this. Pot is a Volume Knob I get to grab and turn down the volume of my pain.

But for me, I need the THC.

CBDs alone is like jacking off only using the upstrokes. lol

Both axles and it’s good to make sure to get a little in the transmission too if you are using metal gears. I personally like to pack my axles full.

We used CBD oil for Dargo, my 120lbs Anatolian Shepard when he started to get arthritis, it seemed to work fairly well for two years or so. At 13 his age caught up with him.

Having grown up in the land of the giant redwood and wild sinsemilia, I have been around the skunk weed a lot. I have had contact high a couple of times, but I have never actually smoked it, and I have to say, "skunk weed" is a great description, I hate the smell of it. However, I have known a lot of people that have used it medicinally, and it works really well with few to no side effects. It is my personal belief that it is only a schedule 1 drug because big pharma will lose a lot of money if it is nationally legalized.

With my back problems over the years I would like to try cbd, but I can't with my job. Basically they can't guarantee it won't hit on a drug test, and I'm not going to lose my job over that.
