Damn you guys!!! Looks great!! Whats the difference from the shafty chassis?

has the top cross beam on both sides, extra row of lower link holes, slightly different profile, no axial trans holes drilled and.... um i think thats it.

i could be wrong but it looks like with the skid in that form could create some snag points when the links are added. or is the picture throwing me off?
nice chassis BTW!

Looks like the usual Vanquish work...EXCELLENT craftsmanship."thumbsup" Very clean work.8) Looks like a good performer. I'm curious to see how that pocket in the skid works. A little different than most."thumbsup"

Thanks for the quick info Tom, is there any way we could get the skid machined all the way to the edges? Not in the form of an axial tranny? Now I'm gonna have to make another order with ya for my bully, you just sent my other one out today :) Maybe a narrower skid too?

flip it upside down

gunna need vp monkey to chime in but , the rail keeps the integrity of the skid, with out that rail the skid is only 1/8 thick..

i really like it but i agree on a possibly narrower skid im also looking at getting a set of bullys and this setup i think is a winner :D bye bye shafty hello moa!

I would like to see the skid have the machine work done like I have circled on both side of the skid"thumbsup"

[EDIT]
Just ordered :)
I will be doing 2 builds for ya Tom!!!

after looking at the pics again are the skids mounted on upside down? i don't see why one side has to be different from the other unless the tranny is supposed to sit in the "pocket" of the skid.

looking at that pic jester just posted are the holes in the braces made to mount shocks inside the chassis like the darksoul mini crawler chassis? id really liek to see a 2.2 with that setup if thats the case otherwise i guess they could be used to mount the body also

this is ment for a moa rig so no tranny :D

yeah i get that. the first pics shows the tranny version. he second group of pics shows what could be the skid with the same machining, but without the holes for the tranny.

anyway its a sweet looking chassis. "thumbsup" great work!!!

isee the confusion, yea i posted the wrong pic in the first picture... yea these have no holes... that very top pic is incorrect it should not show the holes. and the skid is symetrical, this is an edited pic, the actual skids are done on monday.
