I just built a creeper and it doesn't seem that great. the diffs won't stay locked, and drive train is very tight. Does any one have any tips for me or chould I just junk it.

They aren't that great out of the box, but just like everything else there re things you can do to improve it.

your not going to find much bro "upgrade parts" for the creeper from venom or anyone just interchangable parts from traxxas and other brands lol weird but yeaa i had one for a year i learned that quick that it sucks outta the box but all the parts are there just need some rearranging of the major parts and then its a pretty good crawler "thumbsup"

This is where to look for chassis options as well as some other upgrades;
Home Page
and Hot Racing makes a few parts as well for the Creeper.
As for the diffs, they just don't work very well, most of us have "Locked" them either by modding a differant locker, using Venoms upgraded locker or the 'ol standby, JB Weld "thumbsup".
Traxxas driveshaft yokes and shafts are the ticket for drivelines.
I have ran Creepers for over 3 years and enjoy them alot, I have done much to my rig's and the wife has her own too.
For the cost of the kit it is a great place to start for a crawler platform, but like all brands, to be reliable and comp worthy it requires an open wallet and a want to to make it a better rig.

I used a shock spacer. I put it between the lock ring an bearing and tightn screw on switch to where it wont move. Rocky mountain design works has sum good hop up parts and a good chassis the xrv2,lincoln lockers,and such. When I assembled mine it was tight also but after a few batts every thing set in good an feels smooth now. Hope this helpd if not to late

Welcome to the sickness! First, ur in the wrong section for a creeper.. get to the venom creeper section.

The cheapest an easiest way to lock the diffs is mighty putty or jb weld. Open the diff up an pack it full around the gears in ur diff. Make sure you press the axles in once you screw it back together as soon as you pack it full.
HR has the chubs, knuckles, an lockers... Lcc shocks or big bores..
Most all other upgrades, Rmdw....
You can get mips for the same money as putting Traxxas shafts together an way out last the Traxxas!
White dot rovers an option of aluminum wheels.
If It's not listed here, you don't need it..

I added a dig to mine an comped in the pro class with it against Moa rigs..
