Venom up and runnin but possible problem?

Got everything done my buddy gave me a novak goat 3s speed control setup. Seems to drive fine forward but has a stutter in reverse. Not use to these slower crawler speed controls so is this normal. I figure if something is wrong internally in the axles or trans it would happen both forward and reverse, correct? Any help would be appreciated

If your radio has ABS function, make sure it is off.

Make sure the timing of the brushless isn't out of wack.

It's pretty likely if you had drivetrain issues it would show up going both forwards and backwards.

Did you calibrate the ESC to your radio? What kind of radio are you using?
