That 96 mil is that each device or each person? My mom has a work phone and a personal phone plus a wireless card all through verizon would that ber considered 3 people in that statistic?

I don't have a count of how many active lines we have,
But its enough that when at&t announced they reached 92 million lines, we responded
"awe, that's cute"
