no it wouldn't matter, just place it the slot farthest away from anything. And with that larger heatsink you should be fine as crappy the airflow in Dell cases.

Crappy airflow is right.When I opened up the case I don't think I was getting any airflow with all the cat and dog hair that was in there!:lol:

While you have the case open you ought to go ahead and vacuum/blow it out, give it a good cleaning. Maybe even take your fans off and give em a shot of WD.

Vacuumed it out .Man there was a ton of junk in there.I'll see what I can do with the fans.

Thanks for the link.Thats pretty much my computer.It has an intergrated video card.Just opened up the computer and that would explain why I have 3 slots and only one being used by the nic card.

So it looks like the PCI express card won't fit.Well I guess I'll keep looking.WOuld like to get one locally just in case I get the wrong one.

What kind of games do you want to play? I have TNT 2 card laying around I wouldn't mind getting rid of.
