Vinyl cutter recommendations?

I'm looking at purchasing a vinyl cutter to do my own custom paint masks and lettering. Anyone have any recommendations of which one's to look at. I might do some wall-vinyl and 1:1 car graphics for friend / family, too, so I may be looking at a 24" machine. If there's a good smaller sized one that will take rolls, though, I may be interested.

I went cheap with a US cutter 34". 319 is what I won the bid for. Its not bad for what I am doing with it. EBAY search US Cutter or google it, they have a site too. Mine came with free software, but to do the smaller cuts, you will want to run 60* blades, and it comes with 45*.

Thanks, I was looking at a US Cutter 24". Might grab one and a stand. Just have to find a spot to put that beast in the basement.8)

You might have to pay a little more but you will not go wrong with a Roland cutter. If your even thinking about doing full size car stuff, no less than 24" wide.

I was looking at US cutter's on EBAY. They look very nice. I can't afford a Roland cutter but haven't heard much about US. I'm looking to do paint masks and small projects. Probably about the same size cut as yours. Would you reccomend these cutters after using one? Any problems with software or programs? I'm looking to spend around $400.00 and US is right in that area.

I have had mine for about 5 months, and no issues at all. The forum and support from US Cutter is nice. My cutter worked perfect from day one and continues to do so... If you think that you can make it last 1 year, and make your 400 bucks back (which I have, and then some) then to me its worth it. Yes, I would recommend them for sure!!

I have a Roland Camm-1 thats about 15 years old and still cuts like its new. I used to use it with an old Power Mac and recently switched it to my XP box and Corel12. You really cant go wrong with Roland. The durability is there no matter what. Mine even sat in a closet with no cover or anything for about 5 years and when i wanted to use it i just used an air duster and plugged it back in, no problems.

I have a 24" master I bought off ebay about a year ago, and an 8.5 inch Pcut, they are both good machines. The roland brand is top notch just a little pricey. I suggest getting the best software ya can for it upfront though.

I may be selling my entire setup.....but it may be alot to ship, depending where you are.
It's an older 48" Graphtec with Gerber Omega software, computer, vinyl, scanner, printer, manuals.

Sounds nice...Graphtecs look good. I did get a 24" PCUT, but let me know what you're asking for the whole setup shipped to a business address at 53182.
