After three weeks of waiting for the weather to cooperate, a coworker and I finally had a chance to cut a sunroof in my utility room.

Now, we get to spend the rest of the weekend trying to fix it!"thumbsup"

Kinda weird to look at the outside of your house from the inside of your house.;-)

Less than 24 hours, we have the room weather proof enough for it to sit for a few days. The past week has been crazy at work, and next week will be worse, so we decided to take advantage of Sunday and relax.

This is how it sits now. In the past, the room had a flat tin roof on it, which was just flat ugly...........and didn't allow me to run ductwork into the room. To be honest, making the roof look a little better and having the ability to run a single 6" flex into the room was the whole purpose of doing this. When we moved in here, the whole room was surrounded with "storm" windows and one door. I have framed in the front and back portions of the room, and installed the front "real" window and just made the back a solid wall. The side wall will end up being a solid wall, or may get one window on it, not sure yet.
