First, the reason I haven't been on here for a few days is because I have been bogged down with homework and other stuff of that nature. Now on to the reason for this thread:
About 4 weeks ago I started itching very badly on the bottom of my foot, and it looked as if I had poisen ivy, so we purchased some Calamine Lotion and tried to cure it. About a week went by and it looked as if it was going away, but one night I noticed a place that looked like it was a work inside my foot. The next morning it was gone so I didn't think too much about it, but earlier this week, it showed up on the top of my foot as a red curvy line. We went to the doc and when she saw it her jaw went to the floor. It turns out that while I was in florida, I had picked up a waterborne microscopic paramesium(spelling?) and it had latched onto my foot and dug its way into my foot and expanded. She has been a doc for over 30 years and has only seen two cases of it. It is so rare infact that she was required to photograph it and send the pics to some medical association so that they could document that somebody had been 'infected' with it:shock:. The doc perscribed me some super meds that will kill it and may also cause: nausa, vomiting, belching, upset stomach, cold shivers, sweating, and craving for apples.....all of which I have had:lmao:. Long story short, I have a worm in my foot:shock:. Every now and then I will feel it move around in there too:shock:. I thought I would share:ror:.
