Welder ?

I had a Campbell hausfield that I never got to work right. Had it for 5 yrs still doesn't have an hours time on it. I bought a Lincoln and it has never given me an issue. Welds awesome. Was only a little over half a grand$ and makes beautiful welds.

The most versatile welder is an Oxy acetylene welder"thumbsup" you can cut and weld with it, It's wireless, you can weld steel, stainless, aluminum and brass with it.

These are the welders i have
Oxy Acetylene
Miller dynasty DX 2000 (inverter welder, does tig, stick, and mig)
lincoln weld pak 125 (old trusty 110v mig)
Century 180 (220v mig made by lincoln)

And the last one (century) is my favorite "thumbsup"
I also have the miller spectrum 375 plasma torch and would highly reccomend it to anybody that has to cut a lot of plate steel

I would stay with miller, Hobart or Lincoln. And get a gas one because welding with flux core wire sucks. I have a hobart 140 and a miller 140 at work

Would this welder be ok for a beginner to use and would it be ok to weld bumpers, tubers, and chassis? thanks for the responses.

MIG 100 Flux Wire Welding Machine 110V 90Amp No Gas Welder Auto Feeding Torch | eBay

I bought a similar Harbor Frieght "Chicago Electric" Flux wire welder. I used it for chassis/bumpers/RC stuff. I spent more time cleaning up the welds than welding.

I finally stepped up and bought a Hobart 140 MIG. There is still some clean up but the welding is night and day difference in quality compared to a flux wire welder.

Save up if you can. After tax, welder and MIG bottle it was like $750 for the whole setup. I already had a nice helmet.

Mostly I will agree with not buying over seas crap - but check Eastwood. Sometimes we don't always have the money to spend like how we would like.

I did the research on the Eastwood Tig 200 and some of them were quite surprising. I am happy with it and I have used alot of the big name machines.
Just my 2cents.
