What brushless motor should be run in the axial wraith

I'd take a look at the Holmes Hobbies Puller Pro 3500kv or a Tekin Roc412 3100kv. I have a Puller Pro in my SCX and love it and when I had my Wraith I had a Roc412 in it and was quite pleased. Any motor in the low to mid 3000 range will do the trick IMO.

I run a hobbywing bandit 2100kv and I love it... Take a look...

2000kv is perfect for me, plenty of slow speed control and tons of punch. I run 3s normally but 4s occasionally for shits and giggles.

I have the roc412 2300kv in a scx10 and the roc412 3100kv in a 2.2 based truck both running 3s, I like the both but think I like the 2300k alittle better for crawling but on 3s still moves pretty good with 11t pinion and 56t spur. the 3100 with 2.2 was way to fast until I put a 9t pinion with 56t spur,

Lots of info in Harley's stickies in the Wraith section. ROC 412 3100 or HH Puller Pro 3500 on 3S geared low (56 / 9 or 10) gives great low speed control, plenty of top end, and long run times while the motor stays nice and cool.
