What NiMH battery pack would work well for me?

I searched for an hour here to find the answer to one of the last questions I have on my first RC build with no luck, so here goes:
I am building my first RC(a 1.9 scale crawler based on the Axial SCX kit) and I am pretty sure that I want to go with a NiMH battery pack setup. I have a very slight understanding of the ratings on batteries after reading some threads on this site, but I still have no clue as to what I should buy for my rig. Here is what I plan on my setup consisting of: Hitec 5645MG servo, Tekin 45t Motor, Tekin FX-R esc, and a Tactic TTX240 Transmitter w/matching receiver. I would like to be able to get at least an hour to an hour and a 1/2 of runtime on a charge. What do you guys think I should go with to power this thing?

i wouldnt try the venom but a battery with a similar rating. i have had 3 venom 3000 and none of them lasted near as long as they should. my oldest one (6 months old) doesnt even last as long as my tower hobbies 1500 nicd

I'm using 2/3 8cell 1500 for my scaler. Plenty of wheel speed and a little longer run time.

have a 7 cell 3300 mAh and a 6 cell 3300 mAh..both of them run really well with my 35T scaler and I get well over 2 hours of running with the group here.....more voltage gets more wheel speed.

My dad and I were both running NiMh batteries up until this summer...I have moved onto LiPo...he continues to use his NiMh with no problems whatsoever.

Here is what we are using...

4200mah, 4-cell packs. We place them right over the front axle, mounted right to the top of the steering servo.

Yes, the voltage is only 4.8...but it works fine for us. He has upgraded to a higher torque servo to overcome the lower voltage numbers.

These batteries are about four years old...and still last us between 60-75 minutes each run.

If you're wondering...we have these 4-cell packs left over from indoor carpet oval racing.

So if I went with a 7.2V 6 cell 3300, would any of these chargers be good matches? If not, what chargers would you recommend?

I really like my Onyx and am a firm believer that you should get a charger that will grow with you. I picked up the 230 and love it...The group I run with two of them picked up the 220....neither of them have had any problems with it...with the ones you picked out, I would go with the 200....

and they are small....

That 220 is really nice, hmmmm...might have to spring for that. So I could manually set the 220 at 3.3 amps?

Max amps has what you need. Venom batteries are junk. You get what you pay for.

You know what....I lied to you...the guys I hang with have the 240, not the 220...and yes you can adujst your rate of charge with the 220..but not the 240...the 240 is able to charge 2 batteries at once...and at different rates. With the 240 you can charge at 800mA, 1.5A, 3A, and 5 amps, with auto-trickle. I like the 230 cause you can charge Lipo's....its that growing thing again. But my next charger will be the 220......
