I got a DeadBolt for Christmas and don't want to screw up the drivers heads, Axial says molded plastic what paints and glues are safe to use on this material? I thought I would ask before doing anything, might prevent me from melting or deforming the heads. Thanks for your help!

ive never had them so I am not sure on material. To play it safe i would say use something like krylon fusion to paint and then shoe goo for glue

You can use model glue and model paint...."thumbsup"

Acrylic paint also works.......

krylon fusion bonds to plastics without primer, other paints will probably need some sort of primer unless they are specifically for plastic.

some model glues bond by melting the plastic together, might want to watch out for that."thumbsup"

Thanks for the help everyone I was looking at my wife's nail polish before we headed out for Christmas visiting, I painted bits of the parts tree before we left I will see what they look like when I get home. Thanks!

So I decided to go old School with the open face skull and went with a metallic purple nail polish and silver for the MotoX helmet. Lots more work yet but I think they will turn out good!

Got some bone colour on the skull and black on the lower half of the MotoX helmet tonite, liking the open face skull the best so far!

Like others have said Shoe Goo works good and can reinforce the body if you thin it out a little and swirl it around inside the body in high risk areas, if I remember correctly. I have used Tamiya paints without issue before as well.
