I am in the process of building a 1.9 scale rig and would like to get everyones opinion on what radio I should get for it and my AX10 tuber...

On the 1.9 rig I am using a RC4WD Trail Finder chassis with a two speed trans, a Scale Off Road winch and some lights..

On the tuber I am planning on getting an CKRC "forward thinking" dig unitin the near future....

The choices I have narrowed it down to are:
Airtronics, RD6000 or RDS8000
Futaba, 6EX FASST
Spectrum, DX6i or DX7

I may just say the heck with all the frills and get a Airtronics MX3 FHSS, it will run a standard dig unit for the AX10 and the two speed trans on the 1.9 rig.

Please help??

I have a Multiplex Profi 403 built by a German radio system maker that was bought by Hitec. The Profis had 7 channels in truck mode with one 3 position switch it is a crystal type radio but really nice for a scale rig. Today the new version is the Normando by Hitec they have the new Spectrum style TX and RX plus lots of channels just like the it's predecessor the Profi 403. I have enough channels to run whatever which is nice. Every once in awhile you'll find a Profi 403 for sale on ebay and Hitec will still service them.

I love my DX3. I've heard that the DX6i's are capable of controlling some wicked rigs with all the bells and whistles.

Started with a DX3.0.....dumped it for the DX6. It is easier to mod for throttle return than the DX6i....although the DX6i is newer and has a bit more bells/whistles.
