Sure is fun, can't get enough. Plus with scale crawling you get to meet a lot of great folks!

I started on a old school Traxxas Bandit. It had the old mechanical esc and everything. Cost my mom right at $400 back in 1996 for the Bandit, a lower t spur and a charger. I let the magic smoke out in a mud puddle. Fast forward to about 2 yrs ago, and I got a free old school Pede, that got the addiction going. I customized the Pede into a on road car using 4tec arms, then customized a TA01 into a mud buggy, and then started into WK's and Axial rigs.

My old boss had the Kyosho Vanning, which got me interested in the hobby. Probably 84 or 85. In 1989 i bought my first... Clodbuster. Went with me everywhere. Drove it in the snow, mud you name it. Then late in 89 i started racing with a JRX2. Hence my screen name. I have had every 1/10 buggy and stadium truck they have made. Then we raced 1/10 oval till around 96 or 97. Got 3 Corally oval cars, 2 Trinity oval cars. I have 30 or so cars and trucks. Still have the Clod complete with ESP Clodzilla 3 chassis, JPS aluminium gearbox cases and Snakebite body. Guess you could say i'm hooked. My 2 major sponsors are my wallet and my wife."thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

Started out with a yellow Radio Shack f150 4x4, than moved on to a Tyco Bandit and Typhoon hovercraft. Eventually they broke or got left sitting. My first hobby grade rc was a Championship edition RC10 and RC10T. Unfortunately sold em to finance other hobbies. Bought a Wraith last september after getting the urge to get back into the hobby. Since than I have bought and sold over 30 hobby grade rcs. Now I am down to 4 drift cars, 1 rc18r, 2 losi mrc's, 2 ken block rallies, 1 rc10b4.1, 1 og RC10t, 5 scx10 based scalers, and 1 RC4WD TF2.

The Tamiya Lunchbox! Christmas 1987. Freeking love it. So much so, I skinned my p4de with original lunchbox decals... Brings me back everytime I drive it.

From there.
Tamiya Lunch Box
Kyosho Double Dare
Team Associated RC10L Pan Car
Then the Kyosho Ultima II... Raced that car till the trans literally exploded. Then put another one in and kept going.
Tamiya Blackfoot II
RC10T2
RC10DS with a nascar style super truck body.
HPI RS4 MT
And then took a break for about 10 years.
Now, I can't keep track. But I have pictures of every single one..

I had the wide selection of Tyco/Nikko toys.

First hobby grade would be the original Traxxas Hawk modded it all up many times over. Then from there I went all over mostly in the racing arena since the Hawk took me there. I wish I still had the Hawk, but sold it awhile back.
