Looking to get some VooDoo tires and wanted to buy some 1 piece wheels that will use the axial hubs. I do not want a beadlock. i would like to get everything for Rpp Hobby. I am not sure what wheels will fit. Any ideas?

Thanks!

what width? i see two sizes. 2.2 at 1" wide and then a 2.2 at 1.5" wide

Yes, he does.

My father runs the 1.5's and I run the 1". We are both happy, but I can see some advantages to his width.

Something he ran into is that he had to get a wider hub to clear the knuckle than I did. The only thing different is the width of the wheels.

Con- my wheel allows more tire bulge that protects the wheel better.

Pro-the 1.5's seem to be more stable with the added contact patch. He also notices a bit better traction due to the contact patch.

If we were to buy wheels again, he would buy the same ones, and I would buy the ones I got. You really can't go wrong.

It does provide a different look between the 2.

1" wheels:

1.5" wheels:

For the front you'll need 475 slw hubs if you want to clear 1.5 wheels. I tried 225, and 350, and they both rubbed the knuckles.

I ruined a ci 6 bolt wheel on my second run out, hit a rock while drifting.its pretty bad.thought it would straighten out but it won't. Besides that the wheel was a 1" and I was diggin them for sure. C.I. Makes sweet stuff. I'm sure you'll be happy with either one.

just looking for a glue type plastic wheel that will work with the stock axial hubs.

i ended up buying the voo doo u4 ties,ci foams and 1" wide wheels.

thanks for the help :)
