here's where im at...
wraith running 60/12 32p gears, 3c batts (stock esc)and i just cooked my second 35t Holmes TM 540.
its time to buy a few more budget motors.
what has changed is, instead of slow crawling around houston i only use my wraith in west Texas in the loose sand. i find myself holding her at wide open (probably for 2 long) to make the climb. I keep re-reading harleys gearing and motor threads which are always helpful but i am looking to adapt to my new found crawling style in the loose stuff.
i dont rebuild my motors and i dont order motors too often, but when i do i have no problem ordering 2-3-or 4 of them.
i would like to keep my new-ish 32p gears because i am hard on the machine.
should i simply go down to a 27t-21t to get my wheel speed up or will my temps kill me?
and lastly.. who is in the budget motor department now a days?
