Yep our government is selling us out and has been for decades now. Not much we can do as citizens. Even our votes don't count for shit. I still go vote as my civic duty, but I know deep down is is pointless. The ballot boxes get stuffed the way special interest groups and good ole boys want them done.

well the american people did vote for a change but as it turns out its all the same unfortunatly as the real power lies in not the presidency.
we just voted in and gave a full majority to a george bush style right wing christian party:roll:..i think we are idiots for giving him all that power..i think they will do ok with our economy as they got us through the reccesion fairly unscathed and that was in a minority position(shared power sorta) now he has full reign to play with social policy like healthcare, his crime bill, military..etc he's a bad kid..interesting/frightening to see whats gonna happen:shock:...oh man we are fawked:lmao:

Well here's somethings the Canadians should be happy about. From 2008, after financial collapse, to late 2010 Canada has had the highest rate of GDP growth in all of the modern economies.
