What's your edc?

I think my "problem" continues... :)
Spyderco, Spyderco, Spyderco.....

Picked up a FG Urban.. It's a slip joint, like the UKPK, but very solid when opened.
A G10 Manbug and a SS micro Spyderco..

Just wanted to update.. A little size update, next to my new PM2.. I couldn't help it, I say!
I always liked the digital camo, but finding a pattern in the digi, was the problem.
Well, this one caught my eye and the price was right! :)

4 gutted with it, so far! With second session coming.. :)

Got this in today.
Benchmade 42 clone
Couldn't afford a real one even if I could find one. But this thing is sweet. Will be great for learning and won't have a heart attack if I drop it.

I haven't really looked at much less bought any knives in 12+ yrs. Well I had some giftcards and decided to upgrade from my 12+yo no name $15 blade.

Not as expensive or fancy as what some of you have but it suits my needs. Was a little disappointed with a plastic handle on a new knife that's almost 3x as much as my old one (alum) but I love everything else about it. I'll probably get another one a little nicer with an aluminum handle to swap out with the Flash 2.

Obviously old one up top new one below...

Nice Troy. Looks like the family and you were good to you[emoji6].
Not a edc but I'm gonna post it here anyway. Christmas to myself : spyderco sharpmaker

Works really well it does take a steady hand but on my first attempt I took a old worn out gerber that wouldn't even break skin, too shaving sharp.

Ohhhhhh, I need me one of them!!!
One of my dad's friends just gave me some stones.. I took my wife's box opening knife, that's cut staples and what not, and brought it back to life.
She used it to cut wrapping paper instead of scissors! But what a pain..
The video's I've watched on the sharpmaker, make me cry at the ease of sharpening with it!

Now that's something post worthy. Sharpening tips. I used to throw away filet and kitchen knives because the simple ceramic sharpeners and normal old knife set bar sharpener I never could get results from. This year I researched a bit and found I owned a really nice leather strop (old tool pouch belt) and had already a nice stone. I have now honed all the knives I use to an absolute razor edge. In the kitchen I actually always keep a fish filet knife for thin cutting or sometimes I buy meat like a whole loin at a time and cut my own steaks. Now it's nothing to spend a couple minutes and edge is restored good as new. And I'm no longer worried about using my pocket knife on so much.

My work blade ..it has been in service well over 10 years ..

I actually have a new blade showing up this week i cant wait to get my hands on it!

I'm fortunate that my Grandfather, for all his lack of patience with us, did tech me to sharpen a knife with a regular old whetstone. It did take a lot of practice on my part mind you, but to this day, all my friends bug me to sharpen their knives because they never learned. I need to purchase some really large stones for sharpening my larger fixed blades at some point.

That's a nice blade Bronc! I use to have one, back when they came out.
I then turned my focus to CRKT blade's and can't for the Life of me figure out what I did with it.. :/

Then again, I would sell/give knife's straight out of my pocket, to ppl that didn't have.. (I'll do anything to have an excuse to buy a new knife!). Soooooooo, it could be still being used.. :)
