wheel extensions

Why would you want to make it wider? Its already to wide
Wider will just put more stress on the bearing and knuckles.

How much bigger are the tires you plan on running? I have Imex All-T's with Junfac beadlocks on one of mine, no clearance issues. Just wondering...are we talking 1/8th scale meats?

T.D.

Look into 12mm widners. Ebay still has them. Same fit for both TLT am Wk axles.
I have a set that will fit your WK. 1/2 inch wider each side. PM me for more info.

whats the smallest wheel widners available cause mine the wheel and the shock touch each other

Any pics on the mod? I wanna use bigger tires on my WK axles too...I was thinking CLOD tires as I want the same chevron pattern as Monster jam trucks....are there any wheels and tires out there that are a tad smaller than Clod tires that would fit the WK axle without too much modding?

I ran nylint tires on mine for a while with no rubbing or breakage.

I was thinking maybe TXT-1 stock tires and wheels would mount on the wheely king. Does it have just a regular 12mm hex or a disc with a couple of screws like clod busters?

12mm hexs but with a step I believe, so the other HPI 2.2" wheels to fit. I believe the kit comes with 17mm hex adapters too, so truggy/Savage wheels will fit.

hey i just wanted to know if anyone knowsa cheap way to make wheel extensions or should i just buy some?
I bought some from here. 1" wider per side, 2" total. $22, they are very simple in design, but work effectively. Just make sure to use blue locktite on the screws that hold the wheels on."thumbsup"

The problem for me is I have no clue how big the other tires are: Clods, Txt-1 and Savage....lol
Never had one before...my first truck was the WK.
Also to widen the stance I sometimes add washers to the front of the hexes before putting on the wheels...
